About the Rockchucks
The Rock Club has been meeting for 9 years with approximately 30 in the membership. The “Rock Heads” include jewelry artists, professional & recreational rock collectors, students from FVCC & all ages from 20-80. With each meeting there is a “show & tell” or “show & find out what you have”.
As a club, we have field trips locally, presentations at the meetings related to geology, and our annual Rock Show funds some of our events and we have dedicated a portion of the door proceeds to be donated to FVCC for students pursuing a degree in Natural Earth Science or Jewelry Arts. Membership is open to any and all people looking to expand their knowledge and appreciation for geology, rock collecting and identification. Follow us on Facebook!
