Rock Chucks Rock Club Rock Heads

The “Rock Heads” include jewelry artists, professional & recreational rock collectors, students from FVCC & all ages from 20-80. Learn more about the club and this event here.

The Rock Chucks Rock Club meets monthly on the 3rd Tues of every month at FVCC @ 7pm. Location varies so it is best to contact a member to confirm which classroom it will be held in the Arts & Tech Building,

Rock Club Events

Our planned events vary according to the wishes of the members. Throughout the year we schedule rock hunting outings, field trips and offer hands-on lessons to all interested members from the club.

At our meetings we have presentations related to geology, and our annual Rock Show is our biggest event. This year the show will be held on March 14th. (10-5) & 15th. (10-3) at the fairgrounds in Kalispell. A few things you will see at the show include:

• Cabochons, faceted jewels, beads, agates, opal, smoky quartz and more.
• Grab Bags for $1.00
• Kids young and old enjoy the “Kids Corner”.
• Private collections of rocks from around the word.
• Dmonstrations happening throughout the show.
• Florescent Rock Display
