Best of the Flathead Results

When the Daily Inter Lake’s Best of the Flathead poll was launched a few weeks ago, I was delighted to see that my name (a.k.a Flathead Guide) was included in the “Best Promoter of the Flathead” category.  Wow, that’ll make you stop in your tracks!

Although I was flattered and extraordinarily appreciative, I honestly did not think I would have a chance of showing in that race.  I mean seriously, when the contenders included the Mayor, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and other Flathead notables, who would believe that a company only seven months old would be a serious player.

When I got the call from the Daily Inter Lake telling me that I had earned “Honorable Mention” in the poll, I was elated - and surprised, excited, delighted and motivated more than ever!  This told me that not only do people appreciate what the Flathead Guide is doing to help promote their business; they also value the effort being made on their behalf.

I would like to offer a most sincere Thank You to everyone who voted for me in the “Best of the Flathead” poll. I am honored to receive such recognition and to be included with such a distinguished group of professionals.

When you launch a new business, the first milestone is to validate “proof of concept”. I felt we accomplished that after the first few dozen businesses signed up to be listed in the Flathead Valley Business Directory.  However, receiving an Honorable Mention in this valley-wide readers’ poll is the ultimate testament that the Flathead Guide is a valued asset to all Flathead businesses.
