4th. of July Parades & Fireworks
On a typical 4th of July evening you can scan the evening sky and see fireworks displays in almost any direction. Flathead Lake and Whitefish Lake (City Beach) usually provide the biggest fireworks displays.
Flathead Valley 4th. of July Events
Kalispell’s Fourth of July Parade will be held at 10 a.m., July 4, Main Street. Call the Kalispell Chamber, 758-2800 for more info.
Flathead Lake Fourth of July boat parade, 2 p.m. Lakeside. Parade will begin in Lakeside Bay out from the Docks Restaurant and proceed south to Hockaday Bay.
Bigfork 4th of July parade “Celebrating America’s Heroes” on July 4th downtown.
Whitefish fireworks at City Beach, the show begins at 10:30 PM
Flathead Lake Fireworks at 11 p.m. in Lakeside. Viewing available at public docks or from Flathead Lake. Pirate Radio, 107.3 FM at 10:30 p.m. will hold a simulcast show.
The Polebridge Fourth of July parade is one of the shortest parades, but it usually draws about 2,000 spectators.

Regarding Personal Fireworks
Buying, possessing and discharging legal fireworks is permissible in most areas of Flathead County outside city limits. Be aware that fireworks are not allowed in state parks, forests, state recreation areas, Glacier National Park, the Flathead National Forest, or Kootenai National Forest.
